Why Lech Global?

Why Lech Global? We don’t compete on price — we compete on the scope and quality of our service.

The market for import brokerage from China is full of offers that sound similar: sourcing, quality control, transport. The difference lies in what actually lies behind these words — and who takes responsibility for them.

At Lech Global, we don’t aim to be the cheapest option. We aim to be the option that makes importing work — without unpleasant surprises at the border, without goods that fail to meet EU standards, and without an agent who disappears at the first sign of trouble.

Below are 8 specific reasons why our clients stay with us for years.

1. PL + China team — one process, two countries

We have our own operational office in Hangzhou (Linping District) and our headquarters in Poland. This isn’t just a “partner in China we communicate with via email”. It’s our team that physically visits suppliers, supervises production and reports directly to you — in Polish.

Most import agents operate remotely or use local subcontractors over whom they have no real control. We have our own people on the ground.

2. AQL-compliant QC reports — not just “we’ve had a look and it looks fine”

Every quality inspection we carry out follows the AQL (Acceptable Quality Limit) methodology — the same standard used by global retail chains and OEM manufacturers.

This means: a defined sampling plan, clear assessment criteria, reports with measurements, photos and video. Not a “visual inspection” — just a documented, repeatable procedure that you can show to your procurement department or management.

3. CE / REACH / RoHS documentation — ready for sale in the EU

Goods imported from China must comply with European standards — and this is your responsibility as the importer. Many intermediaries don’t mention this until a problem arises at the border or in the shop.

We help you gather and verify the required compliance documentation: CE, REACH, RoHS and others — before the goods leave China. This is not an optional service. It is a prerequisite for reliable import.

4. Direct contacts with factories — no layers of intermediaries

We do not work through trading companies or local agencies that ‘know someone’. We have built direct relationships with factories — which means lower costs, faster information flow and real opportunities to negotiate terms, deadlines and product modifications.

When something goes wrong (because in import, something can always go wrong), we speak to the factory directly — we don’t wait for the information to pass through three layers of intermediaries.

5. Lech Group’s logistics support — our own operator, not a broker

Lech Logistics is responsible for logistics — the Group’s own company with over 34 years’ experience, a fleet and warehouse infrastructure. This isn’t about outsourcing transport to an external firm and keeping our fingers crossed.

This means: coordination of the entire CN→PL supply chain, customs clearance, flexible inventory management and a single point of contact for the entire process — from the factory in China to the warehouse in Poland.

6. Fulfilment in Poland and the EU — from import to end customer

We offer warehousing, goods receipt, labelling, order picking and dispatch to B2B or B2C customers. We have warehouses in Kostrzyn Wielkopolski, Gdańsk and Piła.

For private labels and e-commerce platforms, this means one thing: you don’t need your own warehouse or logistics provider. We are that provider.

7. Factory audit before starting cooperation — standard, not optional

Before we send even the first order to a new supplier, we carry out a factory audit. We verify: the legality of operations, the quality management system, working conditions and compliance with ESG standards.

This protects you from reputational risk, due diligence issues and suppliers who look good on Alibaba but in reality subcontract production without your knowledge.

8. TCO cost analyses — you see the full cost of import, not just the FOB price

The FOB price from China is just the starting point. The true cost includes transport, insurance, customs duty, VAT, quality control costs, fulfilment and any returns. TCO (Total Cost of Ownership) can come as a surprise — if you haven’t calculated it beforehand.

We do the maths. We prepare cost analyses that show you the actual margin and help you make an informed purchasing decision — before you sign a contract with the factory.

Summary

You can commission many companies to handle imports from China. The question is: who do you entrust with the responsibility of ensuring that the goods arrive on time, comply with standards, and that the factory doesn’t disappear after receiving the advance payment?

Lech Global is not a platform. It is a partner with its own office in China, its own logistics in Poland and 46 years of Group experience behind it.
